Publisher Profile
Your publisher profile is your organization's public identity on the Hub. Bundles you publish appear under your handle (e.g., @your-handle/bundle-name). Manage your profile from Settings > Publisher Profile in the Console.
Claiming Your Handle
Each organization gets one publisher handle. It is usually created during onboarding, but if your organization does not have one yet, you can claim it from the Console.
Open Publisher Profile
In the Console, go to Settings > Publisher Profile and click Claim Publisher Handle.
Choose a handle
Enter a handle for your organization. Handles must be 3–40 characters, lowercase
alphanumeric with hyphens. Your Hub URL will be hub.musher.dev/publishers/your-handle.
Add a display name
Enter the name that appears on your Hub listings. You can also add an optional bio to describe your organization.
Claim it
Click Claim Handle to register your publisher identity.
Editing Your Profile
After claiming your handle, you can update your profile details at any time.
| Field | What it controls | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Display Name | Name shown on your Hub listings and publisher page | Yes |
| Bio | Short description on your publisher page (up to 500 characters) | No |
| Avatar URL | Image shown next to your publisher name | No |
| Website URL | Link displayed on your publisher page | No |
Trust Tiers
Every publisher has a trust tier badge visible on the Hub. Trust tiers help consumers evaluate the provenance of bundles before installing them.
| Tier | What it means |
|---|---|
| Unverified | Publisher identity has not been verified |
| Community | Publisher is a recognized community member |
| Verified | Publisher identity has been verified by Musher |
Trust tiers are assigned by Musher — they cannot be self-selected. Your current tier is displayed on your profile page in the Console. Organizations using trust policies can create rules that reference trust tiers to control which publishers they accept content from.
Hub Statistics
Your profile page shows two metrics that are also visible to anyone viewing your publisher page on the Hub:
- Bundles Published — number of public bundles under your handle
- Total Downloads — cumulative installs across all your bundles
